Showcase

The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce premieres on Australian television on the ABC on 25 January 2009. The one hour television feature, follows the final days of Irish convict Alexander Pearce's life as he awaits execution. Filmed almost entirely on location in Tasmania, the production received production investment support through Screen Tasmania as well as financing through the Film in Tasmania (FIT) Scheme.
